Easy Breezy Swedish Meatballs
Yesterday, Barry and I stayed in the house all day due to another snow storm hit our way. At least we got the chance to catch up on things around the house. So for dinner I wanted to make something quick and this is what I came up with...Swedish Meatballs at its best! This is quite hearty and savory, too! A perfect meal for those cold and wintry nights :-)
Ingredients:
Meatballs, frozen or homemade
1 big can of Mushroom Soup
Water
1 Tbsp Mustard Powder
1 tsp Nutmeg
1 tsp Allspice
Onion Powder
Garlic Powder
2 Tbsp of Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 cup Ketchup
1 tsp of Cayenne Pepper (optional)
Basil leaves for Garnishing (dried or fresh)
Directions:
Make meatballs or use frozen ready-made meatballs if you're in a hurry. Place cooked or frozen meatballs in a crock pot and add all the ingredients together. Mix thoroughly and set your crock pot on HIGH to an hour or so. Serve over pasta, egg noodles or rice. Garnish with basil leaves. This can also be serve as an appetizer on big parties or gatherings.
Enjoy!
